Polyaspartic and urethane floor coatings.
Polyurethane floor coatings perform well in commercial and industrial facilities, protecting the flooring system while maintaining its charm and elegance. Polyaspertic coatings provide the same level of protection and gloss, but are ideal for quick installation because they dry very quickly.
Excellent Strength and Protection
Dex-O-Tex offers both polyurethane (aerofloor high-performance topcoat) and polyurea (quick glaze) coating products. Both coating systems provide maximum protection against the effects of moisture, chemicals, wear, corrosion, and daily wear. Their chemical resistance makes them an ideal solution for food processing facilities exposed to acids such as milk and dairy products. They are also suitable for parking lots, warehouses, and high-traffic industrial facilities.
In some cases, polyurethanes are sensitive to humidity and temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, resulting in blistering under the coating. These issues paved the way for polyurea coatings that are specially formulated to withstand harsher environments. Unlike polyurethanes, polyureas perform well at extremely low temperatures (-20 degrees Fahrenheit) when applied, maintaining resistance to fluids and abrasion.
